  Food was good. Over priced. Service was ok. Had a coupon for use prior to 5:00 pm. Were there at 5:03. Waitress showed up at 5:10. Hostess said no worries, we could still use the coupon and waitress said happy hour was only at the bar or the patio. Waitress gave us the different menus for the coupon. God couldn't understand what the coupon or the coupon menu meant and neither could the waitress. Went to bar to get a house glass of wine and was told pay the $8. No happy hour. Ok, fine. Waitress came back and said the manager said no on the coupon. Fine.
  
  They have more rules and regulations than EPA used to. Hello, things have changed.

  Good Italian dinner and a not too expensive price. We've always had consistent friendly service with a smile. When we've coupons they're still as friendly as ever.

  We came in to join a friend who eats very frequently at Armando's. We arrived at about 8:25 p.m., only to be told by the bartender who was very snippy with us that they were closing early because it was slow that night (the weather was fine). I asked if we could order something quick and eat with our friend while they were cleaning up. Her reply was "We want to get out of here." I asked to speak to the manager, and she said "He's at a table." It wasn't until I had to raise my voice that someone got the manager. The bartender knew the guest we were with was a very frequent customer. The food may be fine, but I would be inclined not to return if the staff is that thoughtless and unkind.
